Auto and Cascade interpolation modes have the same hardware requirement. A selectable setting is not a guarantee that your GPU supports it.

Images and videos are processed locally. If you use online playback, the app contacts the provider you select.
No. Support varies with the GPU and driver. In particular, frame interpolation—including Auto and Cascade—needs supported RTX 40/50-series hardware. It does not work on RTX 20/30 series. The published build was tested on RTX 4090; other hardware is not guaranteed.
This release is a standalone Windows 10/11 x64 app. It is not a macOS application or an After Effects plug-in.
No separate Python installation or Chrome window is required. Extract the entire portable package, keep its bundled folders together, and launch DLSS5 Studio.exe. Windows still needs the .NET and WebView2 runtimes listed above.
